Christine Joiner

Christine Joiner, 54, died June 23, 2022 in West Palm Beach Florida from complications of COPD.

 

Chris was born on February 27, 1968 in Baltimore Maryland to Alfred and Katherine (Cavey) Leonard. She was the 2nd of their 3 daughters. Chris received an academic scholarship to Oak Knoll High School in Summit New Jersey where she graduated in 1985. She went on to Loyola college for two years after earning another academic scholarship. After a couple years in college she worked in several office positions and ran a few businesses before going back to school to earn her nursing degree in 2007.

 

Chris’s son Steven Joiner Was born April 16, 1994 and was the absolute joy of her life. Chris was preceded in death by her father Al Leonard. She is survived by her mother Kathy Christian, sisters Debbie Leonard and Karen Benner; son Steven Joiner and daughter-in-law Ashlee Joiner, grandson Jaxson Joiner, niece Rebecca Merwin, and nephews Andrew Merwin and Ryan Benner.
