David Lee Baker

David Lee Baker, age 56, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away June 25, 2023. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on September 12, 1966. David was known for his kind and loyal nature, as well as his love for family and friends.

David is survived by his brother and best friend, S. Bryan Baker and his wife, Jennifer. He was the beloved brother of two sisters, Mrs. David (Cheryl) Henry and Mrs. James (Diane) Findley. David is also survived by his cherished stepdaughter, Mrs. Stephen (Chelsea) Stutz. David was the " fun" uncle to Brandon & Jordan Goff and Ashley & Bradley Henry. David was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel B. Baker III and Carole M. Baker.

After graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1985, David received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Marshall University on a ROTC scholarship.

Following college, David moved to Florida and built a successful career in the Automotive/Insurance industry. His dedication and expertise made him a respected professional in his field.

David was an avid fisherman and expert numismatist . He specialized in coins of ancient shipwrecks.

Please join us to remember and honor David on Sunday, July 30th. We will gather on the dock located at Hillsboro Inlet, 2705 North Riverside Drive, Pompano Beach, FL at 6:15pm. We will depart on the Starlight Fleet at 6:30 pm and return at 8 pm.

David's presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
