DAVID WAYNE BULLARD
David Wayne Bullard, 60, of Oakland Park, Florida passed away June 5, 2021.
Dave (or Davio, as he liked to be called} was born in Augusta, Maine on June 7, 1960. His early childhood was spent in Portland, Maine after which the family relocated to Bedford, NH . He made many friends over these years and graduated from Manchester West High School, after which he attended Bentley College, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Dave started his career in public accounting, but his heart lay in graphics design. He eventually took a position with Oracle Corporation in San Francisco, as Art Director in the Creative Solutions Group. After several years with Oracle, Dave was hired by IKEA and later transferred to their largest US facility in Florida, where he spent many happy and rewarding days up to retirement.
Dave shared many close relationships over the years, traveled extensively and thoroughly enjoyed life.
His family is deeply indebted to his close friend, Joe Shovels, who cared for Dave in his final months and days.
He is survived by his father John Bullard and step-mother Anna, sister Susan Gibbons and husband Mike, uncle John Vondell, uncle Randolph Bailey, nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-sisters Jennifer Small and Stephanie Raudonis.
In lieu of cards or flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Broward County Inc. in Dave’s memory devoted to the care of felines.
