Passed away in Hollywood Florida, Monday, April 21, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in Dallas, Texas on July 6, 1957, to Velma Jean and Carlton John Anderson. Loving sister to John Anderson, Melinda Williamson, and Julie Webster. Loving Aunt to Riley Williamson, Kelsey Williamson, and Lexi Williamson. Kathy had many loving aunts, uncles, and 1st cousins, she loved her family and family gatherings. Kathy was married for two years early in her life.

Kathy held a graduate degree from SMU, Dallas, Tx. During and after college she excelled at teaching water baby swim classes in the Dallas area. Her love of water took her to south Florida, and she soon found another passion working on private yachts as a chef. Kathy’s work on yachts took her up and down the east coast, Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Kathy cooked for many famous people as well as a former U.S. President that loved her Key Lime Pie. When not on the water, working on a yacht, Kathy was always going to local hotel pools for swim therapy, which she greatly loved.

Kathy had many loving friends, she cherished them with all her heart. She became part of their family. Their Kindness, generosity and unconditional loving friendship brought her great joy.

A celebration of life gathering will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. at a later date.
